According to the data from BMS’s international multicenter real-life cohort, patients with different types of chronic hepatitis B, hepatitis that has never been treated and that already been treated by other drugs, as well as patients with cirrhosis of the liver, can all quickly control the disease through the use of Entecavir. Data from China proves that patients with liver cirrhosis using Baraclude therapy can benefit in terms of histology, the slow down or even reversal of the disease progress.

Zhuang Hui, Professor at Peking University Health Science Academy said: “In China, there are about 93 million cases of chronic hepatitis B virus infection, of which about 20 million are chronic hepatitis B patients. Every year, almost 280,000 people die from cirrhosis of the liver, liver cancer and other liver-related diseases. ”
