三大重视凸现乙肝患者现实需求

Summary:The Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control (CFHPC), Sohu Health and BMS jointly launch a nationwide survey of hepatitis B patients in China. According to the survey, antiviral treatment based on nucleoside analogs is the most popular therapy for hepatitis B. "Treatment cost" nets the lowest satisfaction level in the survey. About 71% of patients worry about the bad influence caused by drug resistance. Prof. Weng Xinhua says, according to the Management of Chronic Hepatitis B Antiviral Resistance and Cost Study, patients pay more than RMB 4,000 in the first year after drug resistance begins. Preventing drug resistance in the initial treatment has become the first choice for patients to avoid serious clinical problems and extra costs. Prof. Zhuang Hui says that antiviral therapy is essential for the treatment of hepatitis B. Drugs with high inhibition of virus and low development of drug resistance, including Entecavir, are recommended as a top choice for the initial treatment of hepatitis B patients.
