Summary: The academic seminar of “2008 International Society of Hypertension in China” was held in Beijing. Present specialists unanimously appeal that people should pay more attention on reaching the blood pressure standard. Simultaneously the conference emphasized the tendency of union medication again. In the same time, it stressed and consolidated the important position of ACEI in the union medication as well as the target organ protection.
